Join us for a fascinating circular walk around historic Stratford, along the Avon Riverside Heritage Trail and through this famous town.

See inside the Guildhall Chapel, housing some of the finest medieval wall paintings in the UK - covered up under the supervision of the playwright’s father in the 16th century and discovered hundreds of years later

We will also pass by Shakespeare birthplace in Henley Street and New Place where he died, By the delightful Riverbank we can picnic or have time to explore numerous eateries ( including the Garrick pub!).A visit to Holy Trinity Church (his burial place ) is also on offer.

The Royal Shakespeare Company's Iconic Theatre complex will be open for us to view `what's on` (and use their inestimable facilities).

This route is mainly flat, easy going and full of interest.
