Harrogate Festive Walk
Meet mine 10.15 for a 10.30 start . Bring your Santa hats for a festive walk in Harrogate.
Walk starts from my home 19 cornflower way HG32WL.
Walking length is 6 miles
From home we walk thru woodland and some urban to reach birk crag , a beautiful visa .
Popping into the teepee village at the top of the crag for a break and brew etc.
short road walk to Betty’s at Harlow Carr maybe a grouse in the garden centre and a cake purchase from auntie betty.
We then head thru the pinewoods to reach valley gardens in the centre of town
Plan to then have a festive beer in The Hale’s bar, Harrogate’s oldest pub . It was known as the only gay pub in town but the clientele is more mixed these days
We can then decide either to walk back to mine or hop on the bus
Back at mine we can enjoy mince pies while still wearing our Santa hats ps if we walk back to mine the total walk is 8 miles
