A nice mixture of field, woodland and park walking.

From Gilling West the walk is through fields and flat until we reach Hartforth. From here we climb steadily through fields and woods to eventually reach Richmond Race Course. We walk along the edge of the Race Course and then cross the Golf Course. Shortly afterwards we enter Aske Park who's grounds were designed by Capability Brown, there is a fine view of the Hall itself and we also pass the impressive stable block which is a grade 2 listed building. After a few more fields we return to Gilling West.
