Doddington Hall Gardens & Sculptures

Event Details

Doddington Hall is an Elizabethan Manor House close to Lincoln with a modest, but lovely, garden.

This summer, from July, there will be many sculptures scattered around the gardens variously beautiful, tasteful and questionable but all interesting.

A stroll around the garden is planned on Sunday 17th August.  The hall is a private residence and there is an entry fee.  Gardens only £9.50.  House and gardens £13.50. Historic Houses members receive 20% off full price garden entry.

Dogs are not allowed in the gardens but are welcome on some of the walks in the parkland and woods around.

For anyone wanting to make a weekend of it, Lincoln Pride is the day before Saturday 16th (site opening 11am) where Lincs. GOC group will have a stall.  Lincoln Pride will be held in Orchard Street car park in the centre of Lincoln.  There is no parade this year.

If there is a demand, our Lincs. GOC co-ordinator will lead a  guided walk around the ancient sites in our lovely city.  This will be at 2.45pm for a prompt 3pm start on Saturday 16 August before evening revelries begin, meeting at the GOC Stall at Pride. Ideally add your name to the attendance list for the 16 August Stroll (seperately listed), or just turn up if you would like to attend.
