From Dalton we follow the river down stream through fields and woods to reach a metalled rd. We then follow a farm track to Hurworth on Tees. Shortly before we enter the village Cristiano Ronaldo will make an appearance, first to spot him and give him a kiss wins a prize.

Then it's another field path behind the village to Croft on Tees which was the childhood home of Lewis Carroll.

We anticipate our lunch break by the river here.

More fields, woods and farm tracks follow to take us to Croft racing circuit and a short road walk back to our start point.

Following the walk it's a short drive to my place where you are invited for tea and cakes and a discussion of ideas for the group in 2025.
