Bunsal and the Cromford and High Peak Railway
This is a moderate and leisurely five and a half mile walk. Walking along a footpath parallel to the Bunsal Incline we reach the Cromford and High Peak Railway. We follow the track of the former railway before dropping down to Errwood reservoir. Depending on the water level it may be possible to see some remains of the hamlet of Goyt’s Bridge. We then walk up Sandy Lane, the original track leading to the hamlet. Regaining the top of the incline we then return to the starting point.
