Bristol Armistice Day ride
This ride is part of our series of Sunday greenbelt day rides on the second Sunday of each month taking in the countryside around the City and County of Bristol, Gloucestershire and Somerset.
It will be the 100th anniversary of Armistice Day and so this ride will start by cycling along the Bristol-Bath path to Greenbank Cemetery which is home to a number of graves from both world wars, where we can pause for reflection at 11am.
After that, the ride will continue via Pucklechurch to Marshfield for a pub lunch. Then drop down to Bathampton and return along NCN4 and an easy return home along the Bristol-Bath path
Please join us and remember to carry some water, snacks and spare inner tubes!
Go to http://www.goc.org.uk/groups/cycling/bristol for all upcoming rides, to share our google ride calendar and for more information about us.
