Join us for a 7 miles (11 km) walk around Calke Abbey.  This is a circular walk that starts at Tickenall Village Hall Car Park. From the Village Hall Car Park we will make our way towards Calke Abbey grounds and the deer park in the grounds of the Abbey. During the walk, we will natter and admire views of Calke Abbey, St Giles Church and Mere Pond, a picturesque pond just below the main parking area for the Abbey, deer grazing in the park and views across Staunton Harold Reservoir. At the end of the walk, for those wishing to there is the option of visiting St George's Church and the medieval ruins nearby the Village Hall Car Park.
