Narberth – shorter weekday walk with option of lunch
Narberth is a gorgeous little market town situated in the east of Pembrokeshire with multicoloured Edwardian and Georgian buildings in the high street.
We start at Town Moor car park and walk to the river through Plas Wood.
We then climb to the high ground via Narberth Mountain (just a hill really) with splendid views across the valley looking back to Narberth town
and where some of us walked on a very long day walking the Knights Way!!
Via Woods Cross we drop down back to the river and return to the town centre through a caravan park, arriving at its busy shops, cafes, pubs and art galleries,
and a rewarding long lunch.
Although dry at the moment (hot July) it can be muddy in places.
I have marked this as an easy walk, though there are a few ups and downs, but nothing too difficult.
