The walk starts off through the residential areas of Newton before climbing up onto Mumbles Hill and through upper Mumbles and out on to Mumbles Head where there are wide ranging views across Swansea Bay.  It then descends into Bracelet Bay and follows the coastal path westwards round through Limeslade and Rotherslade Bays before reaching Langland Bay.  There are some stunning views along the coastline particularly to the west along the South Gower coast.
