Penllergare woods has so much interesting history attached to it, and has been described as a secret, and magical place.

This will be a 4 mile walk exploring the woods, using some of the lesser known paths.

A few years ago we had an evening tour by one of the volunteers and it was surprising how many people hadn't been

there before.

On that occasion there wasn't much time to explore the whole area so this is your opportunity.

It is varied terrain with some ups and downs but nothing too strenuous, but includes undulating ground underfoot

which can be muddy in places.

There are two lakes and a wonderful waterfall all looked after by volunteers who do a fabulous job maintaining it.
