An informal walk around the historic sites of Lancaster

This is an informal walk around the historic sights of Lancaster, for those that might have missed the guided walk led by Jim Cornwell on the Sunday of the AOG. We'll start again from the bus station and we'll pass the Maritime Museum, the Roman Bath house, Priory Church, Castle and Gaol, Friends Meeting House, Town Hall and The Duke's Playhouse.

We can stop for a coffee in one of the many cafes before departure just after midday.

The route has a couple of steep flights of steps and there are some hills, but will be on good paved or gravel paths throughout.  Wear suitable shoes and clothing for the weather conditions.
