Cilgerran to the Wildlife centre
This is a circular 6 mile moderate walk starting in Cilgerran village, by the Coracle centre.
The walk starts beside the River Teifi, then a climb up to Cilgerran castle (Cadw) and then through the village to the
church which includes an Ogham stone.
We leave Cilgerran, through a few fields, and past a quarry near Fforest farm, an interesting place,
consisting of 200 acres, described as simplicity, adventure, and beautiful outdoor living. This place has certainly
evolved since I've been doing this walk!! - Al
We then get to The Wildlife centre where we will have a wander and have lunch, there is a cafe.
There is a choice from The Wildlife centre on the gorge path which is quite difficult in parts, on a narrow path above
the gorge and with lots of steps or to retrace back to Fforest farm and then regroup.
The walk continues back to Cilgerran through a lovely woodland.
