This is a spectacular garden in terms of design - at every turn there is something to catch the eye and draw the visitor in. But as it is owned by a highly successful garden designer, this was only to be expected. Whilst a few were deterred by the weather forecast, the six intrepid visitors had a most enjoyable time. It was lovely to spend time with fellow plant enthusiasts and sharing our thoughts on this garden.

We wandered from garden to garden, and found lots of things of interest. From herbaceous borders to woodland, the productive walled garden to ponds and much more, there was something to appeal to all tastes.

The camaraderie we shared was great and conversation flowed easily.

The rain did not dampen our spirits but we did appreciate the shelter provided to eat our lunch.

All too soon it was time to say our goodbyes, but we left having enjoyed plenty of laughs!
