"THE PLANT HUNTERS" Clyne Garden walk/talk, lunch & waterfront walk
This event is in three parts - a bookable guided walk to start, pub lunch and then a stroll around Swansea Bay. Feel free to join any or all of it.
Clyne Gardens contains varied National Collections of plants set in beautiful parkland overlooking Swansea Bay. Internationally famous for its superb collections of Rhododendrons, Pieris and Enkianthus. You can find out more about the Gardens here.
The guided walk will be led by Clyne's head gardener Teifion Davies. He has worked at Clyne for 38 years - I have attended several of his guided walks over the years - he is very engaging and knowledgeable.
There is a £3 charge which goes to the Friends of Clyne. Bookings open on 1 May – tickets are limited and tend to sell out quickly. YOU WILL NEED TO BOOK YOU OWN TICKETS HERE.
Option of lunch afterwards at the nearby Woodman pub and restaurant but no obligation. If you wish to join us for lunch, please let me know as I will book a table.
The stroll after lunch can be as long or short as we wish - we can decide on the day.
