This is a 5.5 mile moderate walk, and incorporates the Miners'
Trail, a scenic ramble through the old adits, miners' barracks,  mine
workings etc to the parkland and remains of the old mansion,  then up
through woods and hillsides to the trig point of Pen Lan-dolau, where we will have lunch, taking in the panoramic views of the whole estate, the Cothi valley and beyond.

It's a circular route, no linear sections.

Walking is moderate with the final push to the trig point being fairly
steep.  About 4 or 5 stiles, all with dog posts at the side. However one
of them is decidedly rocky for humans!
