Llanmadoc hill, Broughton and Whiteford, North Gower
This event has been added to visit the cafe before it closes for the winter.
It's another in a series of shorter walks. If anyone wants to come just for the cafe visit you
would be most welcome.
The walk is 6 mile approx. starting off with a steady gentle climb onto Llanmadoc hill.
This is mainly on a green path through bracken.
We will stop on the gradient to admire the fabulous views, down to the sea and over to Llanelli, Burry Port and the beautiful Cefn Sidan beach.
We will then descend towards Broughton, giving us glimpses of Llangennith and Worm's Head.
If the weather is kind we will make our way to Whiteford along the beach, otherwise a path slightly more inland if weather is inclement.
We then ascend the last bit on a hard surfaced path, back to the car park with some refreshments on route, taking in the great views on the inside/outside seating at the local cafe, whilst enjoying the coffee and delicious cake.
