The Photographers Gallery, London - A bold new exhibition charting over 60 years of queer photography.

This is a ART event for 15 individuals only - Historical Queer Photography spanning 60 years.

I've be able to book a group visit rate which is £1 each per person. Pay on arrival. Individuals are always welcome to make an additional donation.

At the time of your visit we will be exhibiting Deutsche Borse Photography 2023 Prize, A Hard Man is Good to Find ! & A brief revolution: photography, architecture and social space in Manplan Project.

While the 1955 Wolfenden Report and the 1967 Sexual Offences Act marked the partial decriminalisation of gay sexual activity, prompting gay liberation and the fight for social equality; any depiction of male nudity which suggested homosexuality remained subject to the 1857 Obscene Publications Act.

Whilst this is an exhibition of queer pictures, it is important to note that not all the photographers or models can be claimed as queer subjects.
