Summer has arrived ! The 'Select Six' met again for this month's walk, this time from Fletching in Sussex. Nick led the excellent 12-mile walk to Newick and Isfield along the banks of the Rive Ouse.
So many wonderful views, the photos don't do them justice. Lunch was on a log next to the river, accompanied by a cow showing a distinct interest in our packed lunches ! Our return was across fields, through wooded areas and along peaceful lanes. Toward the end of the walk with the spire at Fletching in sight, Nick told us about his relatives that lived in the area, showing us where they lived.
A welcome rest and recuperation back in Fletching at The Griffin Inn.
