Tonight, we took part in the GOC online social meeting. We started by introducing ourselves as we had done before. This is usually a golden opportunity for those of us who have known each other for a long time to catch up, and also for those of you who are new. It's a nice way to show everyone that we are all like a caring family here, always willing to solicitously help each other out.
Martin updated us on the upcoming trips and events as usual including other walk groups. He also mentioned that some local groups have problems in finding a leaders for some walks. For those willing to become a walk leader, it is actually a wonderful chance to show off leadership skills. Also, he mentioned the option of merging chapters, as recently with the new West of England chapter. Furthermore, everyone attending has always been an excellent listener. After that, we talked about how to post an event and the GOC membership information. There was also an interesting talk about the NHS, a curry recipe with unusual ingredients, etc.

"As usual tonight we again gathered for the monthly online social indoor meeting. I desperately wait for this meeting always cause this is the only place where I can feel that I am sitting with my family and I was not feeling this in my own homeland. I can say that confidently that here in this country and with this organisation I am fully independent and I can live my life freely. It was a great meeting and we shared some of our daily life routines and talked about events and walks. Martin as usual helped us to find more events in our areas as we already know that Martin loves to Google everything and he is the right man with his job. We also talked about different kind of foods and recipes. Even we talked about the benefits of eating bull's feet. I also shared bull feet's recipe with them and ask them to try it on their own. Martin again googled it's recipe and he found out that it's very loveable food by Indian and Pakistani people. I also told them about health benefits of it and told them how good are these for human joints and pain. In the end we shared some of our pictures from different events. In the end the one hour passed so quickly. Martin took a screenshot of us and posted online. We then said goodbye to each other. Waiting for next meeting now desperately like always 😊."
To sum up, it is an excellent online social in which every GOC member should attend it at least once every 3 months.
