Five of us set out from Seaford to Eastbourne on a beautiful sunny day. The weather was perfect for waling  - great sunshine but with a cooling breeze. We stopped for lunch just past Birling Gap looking back over the cliffs we had climbed over in the morning. As we neared Eastbourne we were treated to flyovers by wartime planes taking part in the Eastbourne. When we arrived in Eastbourne it was in full festival mode, with the promenade crowded with people watching the event. We retired to the Dolphin pub for a well earned drink - accompanied by the sound of fighter jets flying overhead. All in all a great day
