What a stunner of a day. 26 kindred souls, on a gloriously hot August day in God’s Country. Moreton in Marsh, a fabulous place to start a walk. Plenty of Cafés for coffee and cake.
We took in the tiny hamlets of Longbourgh and Bourton-on-the-Hill, sauntered across the front of the Mogulesque, Sezincote House and onward through its grounds, catching up with each other along the way. We ended the day spilling on to the street at an ale house to sink a bevvie or two.
Many thanks to our founding Co ordinator Alan and his Partner David for hosting our lunch spot in their garden, making us feel more than welcome. Alan even offered his services as uber driver along the way. xx.
