S. Mids - Moreton, Longbourgh, Batsford Arboretum
A beautiful walk through rolling Cotswold countryside, with far-reaching views, picturesque villages and the extraordinary Indian palace that is Sezincote House.
This is an easy to moderate ramble.
Leaving Moreton, we head off across fields to the village of Longborough, a typical, quaint, Cotswold village. From here we take the Heart of England Way passing Sezincote House up to Bourton-on-the-Hill. Depending on the conditions off the day, we have been invited to call in at Alan and David’s for our Lunch break. Onward to Batsford Arboretum and the Monarchs Way back to our starting point.
After which we will adjourn to one of Moreton’s hostelries.
