Four of us met on a slightly damp Saturday eager to work off the festive food! We initially walked to admire the windmill and then set off over the rolling hills. Having passed the ancient earthworks we then passed through a farm before crossing the railway line near the M23.
Apart from the wind the weather was fair enabling us to enjoy the views towards Bletchingly
We were very pleased with Gordon's Lunch stop as we each had a stump to sit on, pure luxury! We decided to shorten the walk slightly owing to the muddy ground returning along field edges, providing views of the rolling hills and woodland.
On retuning to the carpark we all enjoyed tea with Robert's cherry cake and Gordon's chocolate and ginger cake.
