We eventually had 14 of us on yesterday's walk. It was a nice temperature about 22c with a breeze and sunny spells.
It is a very scenic walk, but knowing the area, it looked very dry arid as everywhere now as is in most of the UK. We stopped for lunch on one of the ridges overlooking the village of Poyntington .
Then some of us had tea in my garden afterwards. The walk was 7.9 miles exactly.
PS And thanks on behalf of the grateful walkers for Martin's calm, consistent leadership. It was a lovely walk, much appreciated.
