On an overcast day 11 of us assembled near Sherborne for our leader Martin W' s first GOC walk. He ably led us around the rambling countryside exploring the pretty hamlets of Longburton and Lillington where we enjoyed the ancient architecture.

The weather became increasing humid but the rain held off as we managed some deer spotting; before we all retreated to our leader's home nearby for tea.
