This was a breakfast event at Cafe 159, St Albans.
The usual stats:
- Event sat down by Martin T.
- Attendance: 8 men.
- Distance: about 1 meter between table and cash desk.
- Altitude per GPS: same as the salt & pepper.
- Time: start 10:00, end 11:00.
- Speed: don’t know. Probably 1,000 calories per minute.
Cafe 159 is a great little cafe, with a decent menu blending English classics to Eastern delights for daytime dining. The full English breakfast is well-cooked and presented with care and flair. The coffee is strong and balanced. The location – between the station and St Albans City – is a key advantage of the cafe, meaning that it is possible to enjoy your meal with significantly less pressure than would be the case for a city centre cafe.
Overall, a very enjoyable breakfast to prepare for the immediately-following nice walk.
