An exploration of the valley of the river Yealm to the North of the village of Yealmpton. Our route never strays far from the river and includes a section of the popular Erme Plym Trail. Some road walking but along very quiet country lanes. Mainly along footpaths across farm pastures with grazing animals. A woodland path near Lotherton bridge can get very muddy.
