The first Surrey mid-week walk! This is a 7 mile linear walk from Wimbledon to Richmond!

Starting from Wimbedon Station, this 7-mile walk will take begin by heading north west up the hill. On reaching Wimbledon Common, we will follow the path in a north westerly direction.

On reaching the golf course, we will bear westwards, heading downhill until we reach the stream. We will then turn north until we reach the A3, which we will cross and enter Richmond Park. We will then continue northwards, alongside the road until we reach the cafe, car park and toilets at Roehampton Gate, where we will stop for lunch.

After lunch we will head west to Richmond Gate. When we leave the park, we might have a pub stop at The Roebuck, (a frequent venue for the Surrey Group's New Year meal) if people present want one. We will then head down Richmond Hill to the bridge, where we will swing right towards the end of the walk at Richmond Station
