  • TerrainSome of the walk is along unmade surfaces some of which are rough and stony. There are some short steep inclines and drops. Otherwise steady ascents and descents. The going may be muddy/slippery in places after rain. Walking sticks are recommended where appropriate. There are no stiles. Total ascent: about 430 metres (1410 ft)

This is a 6-7 mile walk on the Malvern Hills south of British Camp taking in two major Iron Age hill forts on Mid-Summer Hill and having a look at the Obelisk overlooking Eastnor Castle.
We shall climb at least six of the Malvern Hills and return by side paths. At this time of the year the paths should not be too muddy and weather permitting we should have magnificent views across the Severn & Avon valleys to the east and into the Welsh mountains to the west.
