Devil’s Pulpit, Tintern, Circular Walk / Pulpud y Diafol, Tyndyrn, Taith Gylch
A circular walk of no more than six miles to Devil's Pulpit in the Wye Valley, walking along old tramlines with panoramic views of both the River Severn and Tintern Abbey.
After initially crossing Tintern Bridge the route travels anticlockwise to Devil's Pulpit, partly along Offa’s Dyke, and back. There is a strenuous, but gradual climb of about one mile, to eventually reach Devil's Pulpit, and a similar steepish descent.
Refreshments can be purchased from local eateries and pubs.
Taith gerdded gylchol o ddim mwy na chwe milltir i Pulpud y Diafol yn Nyffryn Gwy, gan gerdded ar hyd hen dramliniau gyda golygfeydd panoramig o Afon Hafren ac Abaty Tyndyrn.
Ar ôl croesi Pont Tyndyrn i ddechrau mae’r llwybr yn teithio’n wrthglocwedd i Pulpud y Diafol, yn rhannol ar hyd Clawdd Offa, ac yn ôl.
Mae yna ddringfa egniol, ond graddol o tua milltir, i gyrraedd Pulpud y Diafol o'r diwedd, a disgyniad serth tebyg. Gellir prynu lluniaeth o fwytai a thafarndai lleol.
