An 8 mile walk over the undulating landscape of Cannock Chase, taking in Abraham's Way, Beggar's Hill, the Devil's Dumble and Shawbrook Valley.  We will be walking through woodland and over moorland where the paths are generally well-made but there may be muddy patches in wet weather.  The walk follows part of the Heart of England Way and Two Saints Way at times and goes through pretty woodland and attractive valleys.  Our lunch stop will by a ford at the furthest point of our walk where we can practice our rock hopping skills before starting the return leg.
