The Antonine Wall and Croy Hill
This is a moderate circular walk of about 7 miles that uses the Forth and Clyde Canal towpath and the John Muir Way where it follows the course of the Antonine Wall over Croy Hill, visiting the remains of two Roman forts on the way.
The route starts and finishes at Auchinstarry Marina on the canal where there is parking and toilets. Public transport possible to nearby Croy station just under a mile away (collections and drop offs may be possible) or its a short bus ride from the station to the start.
