Restarting Events

Our Groups are up and running with their activities.   While there is generally no fixed maximum number of participants on an event, an event may have a limit in place based on it's risk assessment.   All events still require every participant to pre-book via the website.

General information

A circular fairly level walk of about 8 miles exploring the edge of the largest man made island on the River Thames (Isis). We explore the historical SUTTON COURTNEY, follow the pre-turnpike route into ABINGDON before exploring the Abbey site and ancient bridges from when the monks "moved" the river into town. Returning along the mile long raised stone Causeway to CULHAM Bridge.
