
Summer stroll through the Warwickshire countryside
Summer stroll through the Warwickshire countryside of 9 miles which starts along the canal which leads to the public house called The Folly. From there we'll be passing through fields making our way towards Southam. Some of the fields are used by aeroplane enthusiasts, so take care. One of the fields was used in WWI as a training unit where such planes as Tiger Moths were used. Once we get to Southam we will then be having lunch before continuing walking through meadows till we arrive at a small river bridge adjacent to New Zealand Spinney. Then we'll be making our way back to Napton with the view of the windmill ahead of us. For the last couple of miles we'll walking around the canal passing the Folly public house again, this time taking the opportunity to have a drink for the final furlong back to the campsite.
