To celebrate 50 years of GOC we are heading to the coast for a walk, picnic on the beach and hopefully a swim.

There are very good stalls selling smoked fish tarts or seafood selections available on the beach.

Also bring picnic favourites and drinks. There may be a tea stop in Thorpeness before returning on the footpath on the old railway track back to the starting point.

I have shortened the walk a bit as some members need to get to other events.

As always do not worry if you do not see many signed up for the walk on the website as many regulars no longer do this now pandemic restrictions are not in place.
