This is a short level circular walk starting in the pretty village of Pangbourne. We will skirt the southern edge of the village walking across meadows with the River Pang meandering beside us though mostly hidden by wavering reeds and lush undergrowth. We cross the main Reading to Pangbourne road and head to the Thames for a shortish stroll along the Thames footpath towards Whitchurch Toll Bridge and so back to Pangbourne. Tea will be had at  one of the village's local cafes. This will be very suitable for those who want a gentle walk on level ground with the option of tea afterwards. The walk will take just over an hour.
