Seven Springs & the Cotswold Hills, Take 2
This is a re-run of the excellent ramble that Tom led us on in February 2022. Unfortunately, on that occasion the weather was against us, but never the less, the depleted group that attended had a good time and spirits remained high. We hope that this time that the South Midlands sunshine will make an appearance!
Not a particularly long walk at 7 miles, but plenty of hills, and probably mud, to challenge walkers on this frolic in the Cotswolds countryside, together with spectacular views of the Cotswold hills.
From our starting point we will be straight on to the Cotswold Way, heading up through Wistley Grove and on to Wistley Hill. After skirting the fringes of Chatcombe Wood we pick up the Gloucestershire Way and then onwards to the villages of Upper Coberley and Coberley.
We should be back in good time, for those who wish, to enjoy a warm welcome at the Seven Springs Inn, where drinks and other refreshments are on offer.
