Two nights wild camping and trekking in the wilds of Sutherland

This is 2 night/3 day wild camping expedition in the far north, visiting Sandwood Bay and two of Scotland's most remote and picturesque bothies.  This meet follows on from the Durness and the Far North meet.

Both these bothies occupy a remote area of hills and moorland far from roads and other habitations.  Our route will camp near Sandwood bay on the first night.  The second day we will walk to Strathan Bothy visiting Strathchailleach bothy on the way.

A backpacking tent, sleeping bag and a sleeping mat will be essential.  You will also need to carry all your own food for two nights and three days walking plus all your standard hill walking kit and extra clothes.
