Saltwells Nature Reserve (A walk through one of the UK’s largest Urban Nature Reserves, Part of the UNESCO Black Country Geopark)
A walk through nature and history looking at an area that was once driven by the manufacture of steel and the extraction of coal. The impact of heavy industry, mineral extraction and reversion to a beautiful natural landscape will be on view on this late Autumn walk. Weather permitting the lunch stop will give us great views of the surrounding area and out to the hills of Worcestershire and Shropshire.
