This walk crosses the Chartham Downs, passing through Perry Court organic farm and Denge wood one of the largest areas of ancient woodlands in England.  The walk includes traditional Kentish scenery with views of hop gardens and oast houses. Paths in the woods could be very muddy after heavy rain.  The first signs of spring can be spotted in the woodland.
