Offchurch, Mercian Kings and Warwickshire Trails
This is a delightful autumnal walk starting in Offchurch (named after King Offa of the ancient kingdom of Mercia).
From the village the walk heads for the Offchurch Greenaway formerly the Linus railway line and offering exceptional views of South Warwickshire.
Eventually we drop down to the Grand Union Canal towards Radford Semele beforeĀ visiting a country park and perhaps sighting a monkjack deer.
We stop for lunch with cafe and pub options.
After lunch we ascend a small hill and follow a Country trail path on route to Offchurch where there will be an opportunity to enjoy refreshments at the Stag Public House.
