Shere Heath and the Hurtwood
The first leg of this ten mile circular walk follows the Greensand Way offering fine views across the Weald of Sussex, Hascombe Hill and Blackdown.
Then after passing through farmland we cross Farley Heath with its mix of tall pines, oak, rowan and whitebeam.
Next after passing across Broomfields plantation we pass some fine residences before walking across Albury Heath.
The last leg of the walk takes us through Winterfold Wood down past Dewdney's Well and back to our starting point.
There are some nettles, so shorts are not advisable, and boots are necessary except possibly after a dry spell when good walking shoes are
adequate.
The stile count is very low
