Meall Dubh from Glen Moriston – it’s all about the views (hopefully)
We've cancelled this walk as hills are not too popular - but there is an easier walk in its place from Achnashellach on the same day - check out this link
Meall Dubh
WalkHighlands describes Meall Dubh as...'an unassuming Corbett at the heart of the Highlands, many of its slopes now decorated with windfarm turbines.
However, its position ensures that the view west from the massive summit cairn is magnificent on a good day - a slice of West Highland mountain grandeur'
We'll be using the route as described on the Walkhighlands website.
Pictures are of the summit cairn on rather a dull day in August 2016, but we did get glimpses of the windfarms and a rainbow, plus some other random pics from Ben Stack, which has similar terrain.
