Lynmouth & Lynton: coastline, rocks and river valleys.
Exploring everything Lynmouth has to offer this walk includes part of the South West Coast Path offering breath-taking views of the Devon coastline, amazing rock formations and riverside paths through beautiful woodland. Such scenery comes at a price, some of the paths are very narrow and near the cliff edge, there are several steep sections both on the coast and inland. This is not a walk for those suffering from vertigo. In terms of difficulty think Malverns, going up the hills not around them! Approximate distance 11 miles. Walking boots essential and walking poles if you usually use them. Bring a packed lunch, the pasty shop in Lynmouth should be open when we have our coffee stop (toilets nearby), but after that there are no shops so bring plenty of fluids and dress for the weather on the day. Pub serving tea/coffee near the end of the walk.
