A figure of 8 walk centred on Little Cawthorpe starting and ending Saint Helen's church.  The first loop will be approx. 3 miles and the second about 6 miles.

Picnic lunch stop will be at the church at the start point so you can join us for the first loop, the second loop or both (total 9 miles).  There are 2 benches near the church and seating for 6? in the church lobby but an odd folding chair or 2 wouldn't go amiss.

I'm hoping for some good autumn colour with waterside walks and a wide view or two.

The walk will be called 'A Journey Around My Father' as I intend to bother you with some of my ancestral lore.

Optional reward near the end of the walk is a visit to The Royal Oak pub, known as 'The Splash', in Little Cawthorpe.
