Very scenic 9-10 mile circular walk in the ‘far east’ of Surrey in the Woldingham area, taking in a stretch of the North Downs Way and the Vanguard Way.  Varied landscape with some steep inclines (and stepped declines) near the start, following woodland paths and bridleways, open countryside and tarmacked tracks.  Can be very muddy in parts, particularly on bridleways.  Plenty of wild garlic and some orchids.  For animal lovers you will see some longhorn cattle.  For architecture lovers we will pass through the village of Woldingham which has some lavish houses and two historic churches, one of which we will visit from the outside.
We also pass through the grounds of the classy Woldingham School. The walk can be shortened by popular demand if necessary.
