The John Muir Way from Linthgow

A linear walk of approx ten miles starting from Linthgow railway station, following a section of the John Muir Way to South Queensferry.  The walk is flat and on good paths throughout.  The full JM way from Linlithgow to South Queensferry is quite long, so we will make use of the convenient bus service from the railway station to start the walk proper at Bo'ness.  The route follows the Forth Estuary to Hoptoun House, finishing at South Queensferry. The start and finish times are coordinated around rail transport from Linthgow and Dalmeny (South Queensferry).
