JOGLE Day 95 Newquay to Perranporth
Today we start by walking behind Beacon Cove and Newquay's gem Fistral Beach, around Pentire down to The Gannel.
The Gannel is a tidal estuary that can be walked round, at low tide crossed via a bridge, or crossed by ferry at high tide. On 14 July the low tides are at 04.37 and 16.57. My intention is to catch the Fern Pit Ferry to Cranock
We walk round the back of Cranock Beach, round Pentire Point West, behind Porth Joke or Polly Joke, round Kelsey Point and round the back of Holywell beach to Holywell
From Holywell we round Penhale Point and Ligger Point and walk behind the vast expanse of Perran Beach to reach Perranporth
