
JOGLE Day 94 Porthcothan to Newquay
From Porthcothan , we follow the path round the pebble beach of Porth Mear, round Park Head to Pentire Steps (beach with notable rocks) with stacks called Diggory's Island, Queen Bess Rock and Samaritan Island, and the National Trust owned beauty spot Bedruthan Steps with the stacks of Redcove Island and Pendarves Island. We pass 3 pebbly cove before arriving in Trenance and its sandy beach Mawgan Porth.
South of Trenance we round Berryl's Point to view Beacon Cove, Griffin's Point to view diminutive Stem Cove and Stem Point to the wide expanse of Watergate Beach .
We enter mecca of surfing Newquay at Porth with it's Porth Beach, then it's main beach with Tolcane and Towan beaches before entering the town.
